The department follows the example of Jesus by recognizing the importance of meeting people's practical and material needs, before addressing their spiritual needs.
FOOD PANTRY
Serving the communities of Rockdale and Newton counties by distributing food through the Hope Food Pantry and a Mobile Food Pantry. Food is distributed every Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00 and periodically during the week. Please check this website for dates and times (conyerschurch.org - ministries tab - Hope Food Pantry). Due to COVID-19, and to encourage social distancing you are encouraged to stay in your car and one of our volunteers will place your food directly in your trunk.
Hope Food Pantry obtains food from several different sources and must comply with all rules and regulations established by the Atlanta Food Bank. We have averaged in recent years over 250,000 pounds of food distributed to the community.
We are staffed entirely by volunteers who work to make a difference for Jesus and His Kingdom.
